The Independent, Non-Profit Group for All Users of ACI Worldwide Products in Europe, The Middle East & Africa

Chairman's Note

Site Updated 01/09/10

The nights are drawing in as we move into autumn, and we can look forward to our regular winter treat – the EBUG TFG. Hopefully, you will have the dates (8th to 10th November) set aside for what promises to be another successful three days of instructive presentations, user experiences and round table discussions. There’ll be the added bonus that you will be able to quiz senior ACI staff – an opportunity not to be missed by the serious ACI software user. Also, the time available to meet with colleagues and friends both old and new could provide the chance to find a solution to ‘the problem’ that you have been wrestling with over recent months. Even if you don’t have a problem that needs solving, the TFG will still give you the chance to get other organisations’ perspectives on the pressures acting on our industry today – PCI and BASE24-eps migration to name just two.

The TFG schedule is still to be finalised, so now is the time to suggest topics that you believe should be included. As an independent user group, EBUG is able to raise any subject that the membership feels should be pursued, so we look to you for suggestions.

I’ll take this opportunity to remind you that, as a user of ACI software, you are automatically eligible to join the EBUG Committee, would be very welcome and would be in a stronger position to help influence the future development of the ACI family of software.

As I wander off to enjoy some of the ‘Indian Summer’ sunshine, I’d just like to say that I hope to see you all in Watford in November.

Regards

Tony Douglas

EBUG Chairman
